We are pleased to announce the coming of our Bubu Awards v.07 competition, a digital marketing competition/awards that will be held from May to June 2011. This year, Bubu Awards will also be held as a part of a big digital week, called the IDBYTE 2011, which will consist of exhibition, workshops, conference, and awarding night. In this 4 days event, from 11-14 July 2011, 20 well-known international and national digital industry experts and practitioners will be giving talks about the upcoming trends in the digital industry and how we can take advantage from them, and also 20 top digital companies will showcase their latest digital technology. The awarding night will be held in The Ritz Carlton Ballroom, Pacific Place, Jakarta, on July 14.
In the previous Bubu Awards, we had the honor of having prominent people as our judges, namely, Greg Stuart of Global Mobile Marketing Forum, Tomy Ahonen the Mobile Guru, Alex Burnard from Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Lynda Weinman from Lynda.com, Hermawan Kartajaya from Mark Plus, Anindya Bakrie from Bakrie Telecom, and many others. Of course, this year we aim to have even more prominent people in Bubu Awards v.07 roster of judges to ensure the credibility of the awards is our priority. We are also proud to announce the judging then will be tabulated by our official tabulator Ernst and Young Indonesia.
Bubu Awards started as the first and the most prestigious web design competition in Indonesia since 2001. In 2009 we successfully held the 6th iteration of Bubu Awards, titled “The Rise of the Digital Era”. Continuing the success, and foreseeing the golden era of digital industry in Indonesia, we expand the upcoming Bubu Awards to not only a web design competition, but also a digital competition to accelerate the growing of the Internet and mobile marketing landscape in Indonesia even faster. We plan to make this event a strong trigger for the growth of Indonesian digital industry.
