Terms & conditions of entering a digital campaign competition

Digital Campaign is to include at least 2(two) of the following: websites, microsites, online advertising, digital installations, interactive virals, viral films, mobile marketing, and self promotion by network owners such as Telkomsel, Xl, Indosat, etc, or manufacturers such as Apple, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, etc.

Maximise your chances by ensuring that you:
o support your entry with appropriate materials
o provide evidence of effectiveness and proper results
o only give factual and relevant information and follow the entry rules




Who May Enter?

Entries may be made by either a Consultancy or Service Partner on behalf of a Promoter or by the Promoter direct

Campaigns may therefore be entered by companies active in any Promotional Marketing discipline i.e. Sales Promotion, Performance Improvement, Motivation, Direct Marketing, Promotional Merchandise, Field Marketing and Incentive Rewards

Qualifying Dates
Only works which ran in Indonesia, started and finished during the calendar year 2008 or finished in 2008 is eligible. This may preclude the entry of certain campaigns, which did not begin until late 2007 and are still running.



Entry and Submission Forms

(A) The Entry Form
Registration must be done online at www.bubuawards.com

(B) The Submission Form
o All entries must be submitted using the submission template provided by the organizer. Template can be downloaded after you complete all the registration steps.
The maximum size of submitted file (including creative support materials) is 4MB

o This should be completed in 12-point type only, following the Headings provided and MUST NOT exceed the word count maximum in each section of:
- brief of campaign objectives
- strategy
- solution employed
- evaluation, results and a summary of improvements to business performance

o Presentation is all important. Our Judges do not have the time to wade through rambling diatribes full of unsupported waffle!! With less than 8 minutes per entry, including visuals, brevity is essential

o Please provide a succinct and factual summation of the key points of your campaign relevant to the category being entered. Irrelevance and lack of attention to detail will inevitably be marked down

o The results of the campaign must be provided. Show the results as precisely as possible, giving independent verification where available. Results must be measurable, i.e. redemption percentages are not sufficient. They must be qualified by numbers of units and numbers of packs (if applicable). Any other increase in sales etc. should also be quoted. Vague results may lead to poor marks. Results will remain confidential and will only be seen by the judges.

o If the Entrant is not the Promoter, then their name must not appear anywhere on the Form

o We reserve the right to publish details and images of entries, including results as stated. If you have included information of a confidential nature which is not to be divulged to an audience beyond the Judging Panels, the relevant section(s) must be clearly marked: Not for Publication

o All entries must be submitted with Client approval and signed by the Client. Failure to comply with this rule will automatically disqualify the entry from consideration

(C) Support Materials
o Each entry must be accompanied by PDFs of the creative included in the submission template, uploaded using the ID and log in pass provided by the organizer. In the event of the campaign winning an award, this image will be used in the awards presentation. Also include the 70 words summary for inclusion in the Awards book

o Quicktime file up to 3 MB (optional, and only if entry contains animation)

o Ideally, your entire entry i.e. filled-in Submission template and the Support Materials outside the PDF (if any), should be named using the campaign's title

(D) Entry Fees
o The entry fee for this competition is IDR 50000

All entries must be submitted NO LATER THAN 4pm on Thursday, 27th June 2009. PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRIES WILL BE REFUSED AFTER THIS TIME

Entry Notes
o Both business to consumer and business to business campaigns may be entered
o To be eligible for an Award your entry must contain a Promotional Marketing element, defined as:

An action directed at a consumer or business that enhances product appeal by offering an extra reason to purchase or participate

o Throughout this document the term 'consumer' means the individual or organisation towards whom the promotion is directed and who received the benefit gained from participation

o Entries will not be returned
