Terms & conditions of entering a Tourism Blog Writing Competition
The theme for Bubu Awards V.06 Tourism Blog Writing Competition is “Taman Nasional Komodo†with sub themes:
1. Taman Nasional Komodo as the one and only unique eco-tourism destination in the world.
2. Taman Nasional Komodo is nominated as one of the New7Wonders of Nature
To Enter
The registration for this competition must only be done online on the registration page at www.bubuawards.com
Who May Enter?
Entries may be made by everyone except for those working at the Department of Culture and Tourism, their colleagues and their families.
The Submission
o All entrants must submit the complete URLs of their article to be judged. The blogging can be done in Bahasa or in English.
o Participant may submit more than one article but it has to be done on separate registration
o No offensive languange is allowed anywhere in the writing and that includes things that might offend any particular ethnicity, religion, race, and anything that might suggest anarchy. The presence of any element mentioned above will cause you a disqualification from the competition.
o The article should only be written in entrants’ personal blogs . Articles written for commercial blogs or sites, and advertorial for travel services are not allowed to be entered in to this competition.
o The use of images and videos on the blog to support the article is allowed.
o Word limit on the article is between 1000 to 2000 words. Please ensure that your article is within the limit.
o We reserve the right to publish details and images of entries without prior notice.

o The entry fee for this competition is IDR 50 000/article

All entries must be submitted NO LATER THAN 4pm on Thursday, 27th June 2009. PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRIES WILL BE REFUSED AFTER THIS TIME

Here are some things that need to be present in your article:
o The article should reward Taman Nasional Komodo as a unique tourism destination
o The article should enrich or broaden the blog readers’ knowledge on Tasman Nasional Komodo
o The article should be able to entice the readers to go and visit Taman Nasional Komodo for an unforgetable adventure
o The article should be able to persuade readers to support Taman Nasional Komodo in New7Wonders of Nature campaign by voting for Komodo National Park at http://www.new7wonders.com/nature/en/vote_on_nominees/
o Providing links to www.bubuawards.com and www.indonesia.travel on your blog would give you extra consideration from the Judges.
